Layout

By default when you create a new project, windows have a default layout with the most useful views. However you can create, save and load your own Windows layouts.

Save the current layout to a file

Click the View > Layout > Save Layout menu item to save the current window layout to a .glayout file.

Load the current layout from a file

Click the View > Layout > Load Layout menu item to load the current window layout from a .glayout file.

Save the current layout to a preset

Click the View > Layout > Save Layout 1 ... 4 menu item to save the current window layout as a preset you can later reload, or press Ctrl+Shift+F1 ... F4.

Load the current layout from a preset

Click the View > Layout > Load Layout 1 ... 4 menu item to load the current window layout from a preset, or press Ctrl+F1 ... F4.

Lock the current layout

Click the View > Layout > Lock Layout menu item to lock or unlock the window layout. Once locked, you cannot create, close windows, tabs or panels.
